The Annual Houston Pagan Pride Day will be held Saturday, October 26th at Khon’s Wine Darts & Coffee located at 2808 Milam St., Houston TX. 77006. The Pagan Pride Day Organization is dedicated to the elimination of religious prejudice and discrimination for all people and all religions through a celebration of diversity. This year’s theme is “Celebrating the Mythology of the World.” The festivities start at 3 pm and go until 10 pm. The charities that will benefit from this year’s event include Adopt a Rescued Friend, Inc. (AARF) and SpiralScouts. Adults and children alike can participate in the costume contest and prizes will be awarded for the best mythological costumes. A Day of the Dead Alter offers a place to honor ancestors and loved ones who have passed, . Music will be provided by GBmojo, Robin Kirby, and Wild Rabbit Salad. Ample shopping is available with a wide variety of vendors offering art, hand-crafted gifts, electronic cigarettes, books, incense and other delights. Beverages and food is also available for sale.

ABOUT THE PAGAN PRIDE DAY PROJECT & THE HOUSTON PAGAN PRIDE DAY.

Through education, activism, charity and community, the Pagan Pride Project promotes tolerance and understanding between people with different belief systems. The project helps Pagans find pride and confidence in their path. For non-Pagans, the project helps them understand their Pagan friends, coworkers, and family members. The project has grown extensively over the years and now has events worldwide. These events facilitate donating food, clothing, water, toys and other times to charities in each event’s community. http://www.paganpride.org/

New Website!

Hello Everyone!

Welcome to the newly renovated HPPD Website.  I have been working hard on updating the HPPD site to a more current configuration for some time and I’m pleased to say that things are coming along nicely.  Please forgive the occasional hiccup and 404 error as I work on getting the site up and running.

Thank you for your patience,

MoMatt (Webmaster)
